City Ballet of Maryland is proud to offer Art in Motion: Ballet, a free, in-school program designed to introduce students to ballet as both an art form and a fun, creative experience.

• Interactive Ballet Workshop: Age-appropriate activities that teach basic ballet moves while encouraging creativity and self-expression.
• Live Dancer Demonstration: Professional City Ballet dancers showcase the beauty and artistry of ballet.
• Creative Takeaways: Students receive a “Future Artist in Motion” certificate to celebrate their participation.
• Art Meets Movement: Each session highlights how dance is a living, moving form of art.

2. CBM Visits Your School: Our team brings everything needed for a 30–45 minute workshop, customized for your students’ age group.
3. Celebrate Dance: Students participate in fun, creative activities that encourage movement, imagination, and confidence.

The class with the highest participation will receive a special in-school performance by City Ballet dancers!
